Since Beacon launched in October 2020 we have been pushing for the voices of young people to be heard and truly listen to. The Everyone's Invited website has allowed people who have experienced sexual abuse to share their experiences without judgement or scrutiny, and to find community in others who have also experienced sexual abuse.
This new book is made up of 13 essays, comprised of real stories, exploring people's unique experiences of sexual abuse and the complex impacts of trauma on individuals.

In this collection of essays, covering subjects from porn to the patriarchy, Soma Sara draws a line between the different facets of our society that enable inequality to flourish. Everyone's Invited is a difficult read and could be triggering for some readers - this should be acknowledge before, durning and after reading.
